It’s part of a government-mandated push to increase recycling rates across West Sussex. The new '1-2-3' strategy means weekly food waste, but only fortnightly general waste collections. While the goal is noble, we know that for many families in East Preston—especially those with kids or pets—a 180-litre bin simply isn’t enough for two weeks of rubbish.
No. Arun District Council has a strict 'lid closed' policy for the new 180L wheelie bins. If your lid is propped open or you have side waste on the pavement, they likely won't collect it. That’s where we come in—we take the bags they won't touches.
You shouldn't *have* to, but the reality of the new schedule is that many households are getting half the service they used to. We aren't the council; we're a premium top-up service for people who value sanitation and kerb appeal over saving the price of a coffee each week.
100%. We are a fully licensed and insured registered with the Environment Agency. Your waste is disposed of responsibly, not fly-tipped in a layby near Angmering.
Yes. We serve all of East Preston, including the private roads on the Willowhayne and the seafront properties along Sea Road. Our trucks are smaller and more agile than the council dustcarts, so we can get to properties they sometimes struggle with.
We know the gulls near the beach are aggressive. If you're on a bag-collection plan, we recommend keeping bags in a secure container until collection day. If a bag has been torn open, we will still do our best to collect it, unlike the council crews who often have to leave loose waste behind.
No. Standard black bin bags are fine. We just ask that they are tied securely. If you use our wheelie bin service, you just fill the bin as normal.
Our regular weekly rounds are for general household waste only. However, we can arrange ad-hoc collections for garden waste, builder's rubble, or garage clearances. Just give us a ring on 07491 156 083 for a quote.
Our most popular option is the Family Plan (2 extra collections a month) for £29/month. If you just need a one-off clearance because you missed bin day, it's £38. For businesses, we start at £59/month.
Never. You can cancel anytime. We believe you should stay with us because our service is excellent, not because you signed a piece of paper.
We set up a simple monthly Direct Debit for regular collections. For one-off 'Ad Hoc' collections, you can pay by card over the phone or online before we collect.
Yes! If you and a neighbour both sign up and we can collect from the same spot, we can often work out a deal. Call us to discuss.
